Even with all the fanfare surrounding Khloé and Kim Kardashian's trip to Armenia this week, it was impossible not to notice that their big sister wasn't along for the ride.

So why didn't Kourtney Kardashian make the journey along with her sisters, who were joined by Kim's husband, Kanye West, and their daughter North? She had indeed been planning on it when it was first revealed in January that the Kardashians would be visiting their ancestral homeland for the first time.

"I wish I was in Armenia with my sisters on #siblingsday!" Kourtney wrote on Instagram Friday, referring to National Sibling Day alongside a pic of Khloé and Kim taken abroad. "I didn't end up going to Armenia because it was making me too anxious with three young children. I do wish that I could have experienced the trip with my sisters but I do know that we will all go to Armenia together someday."

Son Reign Aston Disick was barely a month old when we first learned that the Kards would be going to Armenia, but Kourtney had planned on taking the baby, along with daughter Penelope and son Mason. Longtime boyfriend Scott Disick wasn't originally part of the master plan anyway, but it had been Kanye's schedule that was up in the air.

Kardashian cousins Kourtni and Kara made the trip as well. (Krista, the third sister in that trio, couldn't make it.)

Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and brother Rob Kardashian's father, the late Robert Kardashian, was born to Armenian-American parents.

On Thursday, the family met with Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan and today they visited the memorial complex in the capital city of Yerevan built in honor of the 1.5 million victims of the Armenian genocide. Kim and Khloé laid bouquets of red tulips at the Tsitsernakaberd memorial's eternal flame and the group, including Kanye, listened to a talk given by Suren Manukian, deputy director of the Genocide Institute.

Also today, an Armenian company issued a plot of land to "Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian Odom & their families," Khloé posting a pic of the certificate on Facebook.

"Kourt and Rob we got you a souvenir!!!!!! Land in Armenia!!!" she wrote. (The not-yet-divorced star did not address the fact that Lamar Odom's surname was once again tacked onto hers.)
