Those are the types of thoughts we have while living in a world (albeit briefly) where Disney characters have Instagram. Italian artist Simona Bonafini has created a series that features your childhood faves like Ariel, Aladdin, and Cinderella posting to the social media site, hashtags and all!
Not only are the actual Instagram photos spot on, but so are the comments left by other characters. For example, after Gaston proudly posts his hairy chest via a bathroom mirror pic (you know Gaston would be all about that bathroom mirror game), Belle leaves a crying emoji with the words "OMG" underneath. Or the emoji could be a sweating sad face, we're not sure. Either way, Belle is not having it.
You also have to take in the details in the background of all these Instagram pics, which make this photo series truly special. Merlin is in Hawaii on vacation, and obviously Lilo and Stitch get in a subtle photobomb.
Then there are the photos that make us a little uncomfortable. Ariel unsurprisingly loves her bikini beach selfie, and Sebastian leaves this comment: "Darling it's better down where it's wetter…take it from me." Yeah, those are the lyrics to the song but we're choosing to misconstrue it so we can ruin childhoods.
