Between her loving family and boyfriend, a successful fashion line and a few impressive dancing skills, the 17-year-old has qualities many fan would admire.
But in an emotional YouTube clip going viral, the Duck Dynasty star opened up about her own insecurities she continues to experience as a teenager.
"I want to tell you the reality of things: I struggle with jealousy. And I struggle with comparing myself to other people," she confessed while going makeup-free. "I may be this ‘celebrity status' or whatever, but I'm just like every single one of you…I look in the mirror and I pick out the flaws."
She continued, "I am 5-foot-7, I weigh 122 pounds, I wear a size 26 in jeans, a small or a medium top...I wear a size 2 in a dress, and I eat all the time. I'm not toned. I don't have abs."
After receiving more than 2.4 million page views in less than a week, Sadie admitted on Good Morning America Monday that even she was surprised by how much her story touched people.
"I just got out of the shower one day and I was in my pajamas laying in my bed and I was kind of preaching to myself, like a message that I needed to hear," she told Robin Roberts. "And then my little sister came home from church and watched it and she was like, ‘Sadie ... you should post it.' So I posted it and next thing I know I'm on Good Morning America talking about it."
For Sadie, comparing herself to others isn't useful or beneficial in any way. Instead, she chooses to put her focus and faith in God.
"The thing is, it's like God is my rock for me. I'm not saying that you have to live that way. I want to share my message because if it can help somebody, it's worth it," she explained. "That's just who I am. That's just what I believe."
Whatever insecurities she has, they weren't on display at her boyfriend's weekend prom. Wearing a Sherri Hill dress, Robertson felt beautiful as she worked a daddy-approved outfit.
"Even though it's daddy approved, it's Sadie approved first," she said while laughing. "I don't want to embarrass myself either just as much as my dad doesn't want me to go out looking skanky."
