"I asked for the Kris Jenner," the star quipped on Instagram alongside a photo of the cut and, well, she has a point: Her textured black locks are giving us Mama Kris vibes, although the Kardashian family matriarch usually keeps her hair a little more cropped and styled. The pic shows Katy giving a sultry stare only a new 'do selfie could warrant, with a smoky eye and natural lips to boot.
If the cut is the real deal, it would be Katy's must dramatic hair change to date. (Yep, even with all those crazy changing hair colors.) The star is fresh off her wildly successful Prismatic World Tour run, and has been making the rounds in Los Angeles and New York (the latter trip saw her rubbing shoulders—and giving bunny ears—with Cara Delevingne and Karl Lagerfeld). She was last spotted with long locks on March 30.
