Suddenly, it's 1995 and we want to put this wannabe Tiger Beat poster of Liam Hemsworth on our wall.

The hunky Hollywood celeb debuted an interesting new haircut yesterday while at the 2015 Kids' Choice Awards, where he accepted the award for Favorite Male Action Star for his role as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay—Part 1, and it was just the most beautiful yet kinda awkward throwback we could have ever not asked for.

In fact, his middle-part, semi-bowl cut is very reminiscent of one particular teenage heartthrob from the '90s—Hi, Jonathan Taylor Thomas!

Yep, we're totally getting an old-school JTT vibe from Liam's new 'do (maybe even a Leonardo DiCaprio circa Titanic, don't you agree?). Hemsworth completed his super-cazh look with a basic red T-shirt and jeans, which seriously made us question what decade we're in.

This may not be the best 'do we've seen on the blue-eyed stud, and the boyish long-banged cut paired with a generous amount of scruff isn't what we're used to, but let's be real—Liam can do no wrong. Even when it comes to questionable hairstyles.

There's no word if his new haircut is for a movie role or just for life, but we did recently get word that Liam has an exciting upcoming project on his plate.

It was announced earlier this month that he and Jeff Goldblum will be joining the highly anticipated sequel of Will Smith's Independence Day, along with Survivor's Remorse star Jessie Usher!

The next installment of the Roland Emmerich-directed franchise is set to be released on June 24, 2016, and if, for whatever reason, the movie is set in the mid-'90s, Hemsworth already has hair and wardrobe on point.
