John Lamparski/WireImageJust one week before Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub, her famous cousin Dionne Warwick slipped and fell in the shower at her home in New Jersey.
The songstress was rushed to a local hospital, where she stayed for almost two weeks following ankle surgery.
Warwick was released yesterday, and her agent confirmed to E! News that the scary ordeal took place on Jan. 24.
While she's said to be doing OK, the 74-year-old is still not 100 percent recovered from the accident.
TMZ was the first to report Warwick's fall, adding that the timing is eerie considering that Warwick's 911 call was made almost one week prior to Brown's 911 call—down to the minute.
The call for Whitney Houston's cousin came in at 10:19 a.m. on the 24th, while the call for her daughter was received at 10:25 a.m. on the 31st.
And adding to the bizarre timing of things within the Brown and Houston families, both incidents took place nearly three years to the day that the "I Will Always Love You" singer was found dead in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Warwick may be at home and on the mend, but her 21-year-old cousin is still said to be "fighting for her life" at an Atlanta hospital.
Bobby Brown and several other family members have been by her side throughout the week,.
The New Edition singer released the following statement on Wednesday: "Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time."
