As 19 Kids and Counting star Jill Duggar celebrated Thanksgiving this year with Derick Dillard's family, fans of the TLC star couldn't help but acknowledge her growing baby bump.
While posing with her mother-in-law, Jill showed off her growing belly while wearing a classy skirt, boots and a red blouse.
"So many blessings to count this Thanksgiving...Mama Cathy is well, best hubby in the world, expecting a son," she captioned on Instagram. "God's mercies are new every morning! #happythanksgiving"
Derick completely agreed with his wife's sentiments and added, "So thankful that the Lord has healed mom and we can have Thanksgiving dinner with her this year! #beyondblessed #family #bestmom."
While everyone may have been smiling big for the cameras, the Dillard and Duggar family were grieving over the loss of a beloved family member just a few days earlier.
One week before the turkey was served, Derick had to say his goodbyes to Grandma Vergie, who ultimately passed away before the holidays.
"So grateful that Jill and I got to speak with my grandmother this week before she passed away earlier today," he wrote on Instagram with a precious photo of the three together. "You will be greatly missed Grandma Vergie, but we're looking forward to seeing you in Heaven before too long!"
Jill added, "Grandma Vergie, you will be greatly missed!"
Thanks to a strong religious faith and deep family bonds, we're happy to see this group still celebrating during the holidays. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to all involved.
