Was there a dry eye in the ballroom on Monday night?

Dancing With the Stars said goodbye to Tommy Chong, one of the series' most beloved contestants in recent memory during the semi-finals, and while many of the ABC reality hit's fans were sad to see the 76-year-old Cheech & Chong star go, no one was sadder than Peta Murgatroyd, his partner.

After being eliminated from the competition, a teary-eyed Peta told E! News she's "so proud" of Tommy.

"I guess it just like floored me with, like, how loved he is," she said. "I am so in love with him right now. I just love him so much."

Tommy admitted he was surprised to make it as far as he did on DWTS, but said it's not because of his dancing skills. "I made it this far based on my reputation more than anything," he explained.

Still left in the competition? The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air star Alfonso Ribeiro, who performed on Monday night despite suffering a serious back injury that almost forced him to quit the show.

While he made it through the night, Alfonso was definitely feeling the pain after. "It's a tough one. It's a really tough one," he told us of his injury. "I've got a back brace on to keep me upright."

Watch the rest of our interview with Alfonso above to find out how he's feeling about next week's finals and which special guest was in the audience rooting him on. Plus, Tommy revealed why he's "relieved" he was eliminated!

DWTS' finals kick off Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC.
