Gorgeous in gold!
Jessica Simpson isn't in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, but she still stole the show at the film's L.A. premiere Monday. The svelte singer showed off her fabulous figure by modeling a vintage gold one-shoulder gown. The dress featured a thigh high slit, allowing the fashionista to literally put her best foot forward. Jessica, 34, accessorized with Neil Lane jewelry, Prada heels and a Salvatore Ferragamo clutch.
The "Irresistible" singer also showed off her sleek new 'do.
Later, Jessica posed with her husband Eric Johnson on the red carpet. At one point, she playfully stuck her tongue out at the ex-NFL player. The two also shared a steamy kiss—for photographers, of course.
If Jessica appeared more comfortable in her skin, it's because she was.
In September, Glamour published a letter from Jessica about learning to love her body. "I've grown into myself and established my identity on my terms. I embrace my strengths and celebrate even the small victories. I'm certainly not perfect, but when I look in the mirror, I'm proud of the woman I see," the paid Weight Watchers spokeswoman wrote. "I'm not only someone's mother, wife, and daughter—I'm me."
"Eric has seen me at every size, and he loves me no matter what," Jessica wrote. "Eric was so supportive and challenged me to accept my insecurities and focus on what truly matters. I feel stronger than ever, and Eric's unconditional love has been a reminder of the love I should give myself." The "Angels" singer praised her other loved ones, too, writing, "My family has been by my side in every way imaginable—through the highest highs and the lowest lows. I believe that because I've nurtured and cherished these relationships, my marriage and the relationship I have with myself are strengthened daily."

So, why were Jessica and Eric at Monday's event?
The newlyweds were on hand to support Evan Ross, who married Jessica's little sister, Ashlee Simpson, in August. Evan's mom, Diana Ross, also attended the premiere. "When my face showed up onscreen the first time, everyone jumped up. The whole group," the actor told USA Today. "It was unbelievable."
Evan plays Messalla, Cressida's assistant from the Capitol, in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1.
