E! News can confirm Kristin Chenoweth and Hollywood producer Dana Brunetti have broken up after nearly a year of dating.
In addition to busy careers and travel schedules, a source tells E! News that Brunetti wanted to spend more time with his daughter.
The private couple first sparked romance rumors at Matthew Morrison's Halloween birthday bash in 2013. As Chenoweth dressed up as a SWAT team member, an eyewitness spotted the perky Broadway star cuddling up to Brunetti.
Since their holiday PDA moments, the couple has kept their romance on the down-low with a few public appearances here and there. In fact, their first public appearance wasn't until January at the Golden Globes when Brunetti was nominated for Captain Phillips.
Both parties appear to be handling the split the best they can. On Friday, Chenoweth was all smiles when she appeared on The Late Show With David Letterman to promote her album.
She also managed to get the crowd laughing when the topic of Kim Kardashian's naked Paper magazine shoot came up. "My butt is the size of her bra straps," she joked to David Letterman.
Meanwhile, E! News can confirm that Brunetti has moved on with another star in Hollywood. A source revealed that the 41-year-old Hollywood producer behind House of Cards is currently seeing 27-year-old actress Katie Cassidy.
Just one week ago, the Arrow actress posted a selfie with her new beau that read, "just can't get enough... @dana_brunetti." Despite the Instagram post, another source contends they are simply just friends.
