Man, that Harry Styles can sure handle being put in the hot seat.

The One Direction singer was asked during a Google hangout on Sunday how he feels about being the subject of many of Taylor Swift's songs.

The band's pal director Ben Winston probed the boy-bander, in hopes of getting a juicy answer, but Styles replied with equal parts honesty and class.

"I think we always say, when we wrote the album, that we write from personal experiences, so it would be hypocritical of us to be like 'Oh you can't write a song…,'" explained the 22-year-old.

"She's really good so…they're good songs. So I'm lucky in that sense."

During a recent interview with Good Morning America, T.Swift revealed that her newest songwriting efforts has been less about ex-boyfriends and more about growing up as a whole.

"You have more and more people paying attention to what you're doing and you've been doing it the same way your entire career as a songwriter..." she said on the morning news show.

"They use kind of you writing songs about your life as a way to play detective, and, for me, I have a really strict personal policy that I never name names, so anybody saying that a song is about a specific person is purely speculating."

The "Blank Space" crooner also explained how she feels there's a double standard placed on who (and what) she writes about.

"You're going to have people who are gonna say, ‘Oh you know, like she just writes songs about her ex-boyfriends,' and I think, frankly, that's just a very sexist angle to take," she stated before adding, "No one says that about Ed Sheeran. No one says it about Bruno Mars. They're all writing about their exes, their current girlfriends, their love life and no one raises a red flag there."
