The former child star revealed that she opted to add more color to her usual blond tresses, and switched up her 'do with a purple hue!
Bynes stepped out with her new lavender locks today, debuting the finished look after letting her Twitter followers know earlier in the day that she was at the hair salon for a dye job. "I dyed my hair violet :D I'm not sure if I like it , and this is a blurry pic but here it is !"

Although the change in color is an interesting move, what seems more puzzling is the fact that Bynes just said she didn't have enough money for a hotel, but apparently had enough dollars for a pricey salon visit.
Amanda was recently photographed sleeping on a couch at the Beverly Center shopping mall in Los Angeles, and took to Twitter to explain herself and her current living situation.
"I was not given money for a hotel so I have been staying with friends and I didn't get enough sleep last night so I fell asleep on a couch @ the Beverly center and a paparazzi snuck in and took pictures of me," she began.
"FYI! I hate my parents for still not giving me money for a hotel. What is wrong with them? My lawyer is working to have them fully removed from being my conservator, because they don't deserve control over my money - They are miserable in their life and I will fight to get control of my finances taken away from them!"
