The actress was seen in Los Angeles looking slim in a pair of black trousers, a matching cardigan and brown ankle boots and appeared to be in good spirits.
It's only been six weeks since the 40-year-old beauty gave birth to her first child with Ryan Gosling, whom they named Esmeralda Amada Gosling.
Both new parents have kept a low profile this year, and it's only been in the recent weeks that Gosling has appeared on the set of his upcoming film in Atlanta sans his family.
In fact, the 33-year-old heartthrob was seen arriving back in Los Angeles over the weekend after spending a week away from home.
Shortly after the good-looking duo welcomed their baby girl, a source explained to E! News the meaning behind their little one's unique moniker.
We're told that Mendes and Gosling chose Esmeralda—which means "beautiful emerald" in Spanish—because they wanted a name that represented her Hispanic heritage since she was given her father's surname,
The insider close to the actors also gushed how "blissfully in love" they are with their newborn, explaining that "they've settled so well into their new family of three."
"Ryan is very hands on and has been taking the baby after the early morning feed so Eva can sleep in a bit. He sings the baby songs—they are both madly in love with this child."
A separate source also recently shared with us that the couple is "great but exhausted." And all things considered, that's pretty understandable!
"Eva is so happy she's a mom, their baby girl is perfect," they added. "They are at home now with the baby and Eva is feeling great she says. They are both so happy and in love. They wanted to start a family for a while now."
Mendes and Gosling began dating after co-starring in the dramatic indie flick, The Place Beyond the Pines.
