Just last month, the 21-year-old pop star took to Instagram to share a sexy swimsuit shot which she captioned, "taking my power back," and now, she posted a follow-up pic on the photo-sharing site, writing "soy valiente." Translation? "I'm brave."
The gorgeous selfie, in which Gomez is sporting a bright orange two-piece while wearing her hair in two pigtail braids, comes on the heels of the news that the "Come and Get It Singer" has rekindled her romance with on-again-off-again-boyfriend Justin Bieber. The two most recently visited the Los Angeles Zoo with Bieber's grandparents on Sunday, where they enjoyed a private tour and visited with fans.
The on-again lovebirds have been spotted together on numerous occasions since they decided to give their romance (another) go earlier this month. They attended a bible study together on Wednesday and were later spotted hitting up Mastro's Steakhouse in Beverly Hills before they caught a movie on Friday.
Last week, E! News officially confirmed that Jelena is back on. We're told that Justin wants to jump right back into the romance, but Selena wants to take things slow, and ultimately decided to give the "Beauty and a Beat" singer another chance following her recent trip to Nepal on behalf of UNICEF.
"She still loves him," the source said. "It is hard for her to get over him because they have so much history."
What's more, we're told that Gomez isn't paying any attention to those in her circle who disapprove of Bieber (i.e. the ones who are considering all of their history together), and, our source said, she doesn't seem to care about the media scrutiny that comes with dating the controversial pop star, either.
Meanwhile, the pair seems to be going stronger than ever. After all, the Biebs did initially spark romance rumors by tweeting-then-deleting a cozy Instagram pic of the duo with the caption "our love is unconditional."
