The First Lady of the United States sits down with Terrence Jenkins to discuss how the network influences young people's lives

In an exclusive interview airing on E! News Monday, the First Lady of the United States sits down with Terrence Jenkins to promote the National Summer Learning Day Fair, co-hosted by the U.S Department of Education and National Summer Learning Association. As part of her Reach Higher initiative, Michelle, 50, stresses the importance of preparing young people for successful college entry and completion.

FLOTUS is eager to get her message out, particularly to E! viewers, given that her kids are fans of the network. "It's important. You guys have a viewership that needs to hear about this stuff. I know my kids like to watch you guys," Michelle says, referring to Malia, 15, and Sasha, 13. "They're listening to you!"

Michelle, who majored in sociology at Princeton University and graduated from Harvard Law School, further explains the significance of the National Summer Learning Day Fair on E! News later tonight.
