Ice Cube can make anything sound threatening.
Need proof? Look no further than Thursday's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where the rapper and actor recited nice things in a heated way. "You are very good at seeming angry," Jimmy Kimmel said.
"You would not classify these lines as your typical angry-guy lines," Kimmel said. "In fact, they're quite the opposite of that. I'll read them to you and then you act them back to me in your own imitable way."
The 22 Jump Street star, 44, was up for the challenge. His first task was to say, "Lavender body wash makes my pores tingle." At times, he struggled to read his lines—which only made him seem angrier.
"You know I went to the L.A. Unified School District, so I can't read that good," he explained.
Though it's not in Ice Cube's nature to typically say a phrase like, "I want a love like the love in The Notebook, a love that splits the sky," the movie star delivered it an angry, memorable and hilarious way.
