#1: Wine Pops: White Wine Honeydew Melon Mint Pop

Makes 10 servings

Frozen Wine Pops are sexy, sweet, and refreshing. Blend this version well with fresh mint, honeydew melon, and white wine, and you've got the perfect treat for the next warm afternoon.

 

Infused Simple Syrup:

1 cup water

1 cup granulated sugar

4 sprigs fresh mint

 

Pops:

½ honeydew melon, peeled and cubed

¾ cup sweet or dry white wine

 

To make the syrup:

In a small saucepan, combine the water, sugar, and mint sprigs. Simmer gently for 10 minutes. Cool and reserve.

 

To make the pops:

  1. In a food processor, blend the honeydew and white wine. Add the syrup and pulse to combine.
  2. Pour the mixture into individual ice pop molds, add sticks, and freeze until solid, approx. 6 hours.

 

#2: Ginger Margarita

Makes 4-6 servings

If you're a fan of fresh ginger and mint, this twist on your typical boring margarita is a simple and fresh treat to share for the summer. Serve it up with some candied ginger on the side and add that touch of Tequila and SALUD!!

 

Ginger Simple Syrup

¼ cup thinly sliced fresh ginger

1 ½ cups of sugar

1 bunch lavender

2 cups water

 

Ginger Sugar

¼ cup sugar in the raw

1 teaspoon ginger powder

 

For the Bar

Glasses

Premium tequila

Water

Ginger Sugar (to rim the glasses)

Ice

Seltzer Water

Fresh Lavender

Cute paper straws

 

To make the syrup:

  1. In a small saucepan, combine the ginger, sugar, lavender, and water. Cook over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Continue to simmer for an additional 2 minutes.
  2. Cool the syrup completely. Discard the boiled ginger and lavender. Transfer the Ginger Simple Syrup to a cute jar or squeeze bottle

 

To make the Ginger Sugar:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine the Sugar in the Raw and ginger powder, mixing to incorporate well.

 

To Serve:

Moisten the rim of the glass with tequila or water and gently dab into the Ginger Sugar mixture to coat. Fill the sugar-rimmed glasses with ice. To each glass, add approx. 1 part syrup, 1 part water, 1 part premium tequila, and 1 part fizzy seltzer to top. Whirl with a spoon or cute stir rod and taste-test to perfection. Add as much or as little Ginger Simple Syrup or water as desired. Garnish with a small lavender sprig and serve with a cute paper straw.

 

#3: The Green Pina

Serves 4

 

With fresh and delicious ingredients like mango, pineapple, coconut water and a touch of secret spinach, this drink, perfected with a touch of rum or vodka, is a fresh and new way to blend up your favorite mixed drink and still get some nutrients at the same time. Essentially, you're being a little bit naughty while getting some nutrients!

 

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana

1 ½ cup fresh pineapple

½ cup mango

1 cup baby spinach

1 ½ cups unsweetened coconut milk drink

½ cup of shredded coconut

1 cup ice

 

Directions:

Add ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth
