The "Drunk in Love" crooner has been rocking the hairstyle for years, sporting everything from cornrows to individual braids to box braids, so it's no surprise she was getting braided up when she was just a kid as well.
Posting a photo on Instagram with the caption "1989," Beyoncé showed off a snap of herself at eight years old getting her hair braided in a salon with a smile on her face.
In addition to her throwback braided shot, the superstar singer posted a photo of her daughter Blue Ivy throwing her tiny foot up to the camera with the caption, "The blueprint."
This is just the latest snap of her daughter the 32-year-old songstress has posted, who also revealed a shot of her two-year-old playing dress up in her killer red pumps.
Before kicking off her On the Run tour with hubby Jay Z in Miami June 25, the couple laid low in the Hamptons with their daughter for Memorial Day weekend, where it appears the snaps were taken.
