InstagramWe've always associated Hilary Duff with her long, blond hair, but clearly the 26-year-old star and mom was in the mood for something fresh when she went to celebrity hairstylist Marcus Francis and had him chop it all off.
So Hilary took the plunge and traded in her longer locks for something short and sweet. She posted a picture on Instagram of Marcus mid-chop, holding scissors to her hair with the caption, "Morning chop....W/ my favorite @marcusrfrancis"
Then Hilary posted an "after" pic on Instagram captioned "#selfie," showing off her edgier, choppy bob haircut. Hilary has experimented with darker hair color shades before, but we've never seen her go this short. The verdict? We love! It really suits her.
We knew it was only a matter of time before another star got on the bob haircut bandwagon. It was practically the official haircut for spring, and clearly the bob trend is continuing into the summer.
