Is the A Million Ways to Die in the West star wearing Sean Penn's work-out wear as a dress?

Leave it to Charlize Theron to grab an over-sized sleep shirt from her beau's closet and rock it like red carpet royalty. Sure, this might not actually be Sean Penn's clothing, but this thing looks like a t-shirt and it looks perfect on the A Million Way to Die in the West star.

Not that the South African stunner needs any help from her fashion... Her fit frame, long legs and classic pop of color on the lips could sell a burlap bag, which is essentially what she's wearing, in black.

Sure, the Stella McCartney design offers a bit of edge with the short bell sleeves, but that's about it! We're told this is a python jacquard fabric, but it's barely visible in photos, and there are no other embellishments. The Prometheus star also opted against blingy accessories or detailed shoes.

So what exactly was she thinking?

Probably that her perfect pins could sell this otherwise boring LBD. And as far as we're concerned, she was right.
