Looks like Nikki Reed is officially ready for a fresh start.

Five days after filing for divorce from husband of two years, Paul McDonald, the former Twilight star stepped out with newly blond locks. The 25-year-old first debuted the lighter hue on her Instagram, captioning the photo: "Finishing touches. Less than a week away from filming #TheSundayHorse."

That's right, the actress has gone Goldilocks because she's getting back to work. Probably for the best since they say it's good to stay busy when going through a breakup.

Not that this was an ugly split by any means. In fact, in addition to her new role, the star will continue working with her ex-husband in the studio. "They will continue to share their love of music, and are still working on their debut album, I'm Not Falling, releasing in 2014. They remain best friends and look forward to their continued journey together," her rep shared when the duo announced their separation back in March.
