Warning: the following song will be stuck in your head the rest of the day.
We're a little over a month away from the premiere of Girl Meets World, Disney Channel's highly anticipated Boy Meets World follow-up starring Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, but the show is ready to take on the world. Right now.
The official opening theme song for Girl Meets World has been released and it is insanely addictive. Seriously, you will be singing "Take on the World" for the foreseeable future, so you might as well apologize to your family, friends and coworkers now!
The catchy tune was recorded by two of the series' young stars, Rowan Blanchard, who plays Riley, the titular girl and daughter of Cory and Topanga, and Sabrina Carpenter, who plays BFF Maya aka the new Shawn (Rider Strong).
While its first episode has yet to air, Girl Meets World is already in its last week of production on its first season. "Last week working on #season1 of Girl Meets World, waterproof mascara will be my best friend," Blanchard tweeted on Monday.
The buzzed-about sitcom will feature guest appearances by several Boy Meets World stars, including Rider Strong, William Daniels as Mr. Feeny, William Russ and Betsey Randle as Cory's parents, Alan and Amy Matthews, and Lee Norris as Minkus.
Girl Meets World debuts Friday, June 27 on the Disney Channel.
