UDPATE: According to a source, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were "in a great mood" throughout their almost two-hour dinner. The duo "laughed and shared some wine" during their meal before sneaking out the back around 10 p.m.
And while the two no longer live together, they shared a car on their way to their respective homes.
Could these two be the friendliest exes ever?!
The two were spotted grabbing dinner together at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.
The famous duo did their best to keep the meal as low-key as possible and even snuck out the back in the hopes of avoiding a scene.
The Oscar-winning actress was seen wearing a black blazer and shirt with her hair pulled back and minimal makeup.
Meanwhile, the Coldplay frontman opted to keep his look casual with a green T-shirt and trousers.
The 37-year-old Brit recently opened up for the first time since news broke of his "conscious uncoupling" with Paltrow last month.
"You can be with someone very wonderful, but because of your own issues you cannot let that be celebrated in the right way," he told BBC Radio 1's Zane Lowe.
"I don't want to go through life being scared of it, being scared of love, being scared of rejection, being scared of failure."
He also opened up about the inspiration behind the band's latest album, Ghost Stories.
"I think in life everyone needs to be broken in some way...I think everyone in their life goes through challenges, whether it's love or money, kids, or illness...You have to really not run away from that stuff. Life throws these colorful challenges at you...what we decided to do on Ghost Stories was to really be honest about it and say, this is what's been happening."
