Vanity Fair is reporting that the broken-hearted blonde is on leave from her marketing job to allow her to handle her breakup as privately as possible.
The magazine is also reporting that Cressy was supposed to attend the society wedding, which is being held in Memphis, but pulled out last minute after the news of her split.
"Cressida can't stand the fact that everywhere she goes, someone takes a picture of her on their smartphone especially when she is feeling down," a source told the publication. "She has been told it's O.K. for her to take some time off work."
On Tuesday, E! News confirmed that the famous couple, who had been dating for nearly two years, had broken up.
Bonas had been having reservations about being thrust into the spotlight just like Kate Middleton.
A source told us that she loved her freedom and doesn't want her life to "become a circus."
Hello! magazine is reporting that the decision to end their relationship was "very much an amicable one."
The outlet added that Bonas "wants to focus on her career" and that "Harry is really keen that she is allowed to get on with her life."
