It's a boy!

Tony Parker became a father last night after his fiancée Axelle Francine gave birth to their son, Josh.

The San Antonio Spurs point guard hit the basketball court just hours after meeting his little one for the first time in order to play in the Game 5 playoffs.

And it was quite a good night for the French athlete. The new papa helped his team beat the Dallas Mavericks 109-103.

Parker posted about becoming a father and the big win on his website (translated here into English), "This is certainly a beautiful day, it's nice to be a dad and start with a win, it's great."

Spurs forward Tim Duncan told reporters, "He was really excited before the game. Obviously, he was really excited to have his son here and wanted to get this game really badly, not only for his son but for the situation and the timing of it."

Back in October, Parker made the announcement that he and Francine were expecting their first child together.

"Hey just wanted to say that I'm very happy today... me and my future Wife going to have a Baby Boy!!!!"

He also nonchalantly announced their engagement last June during a twitter chat, saying his favorite thing was to do was to "spend time with my fiance."

The two have been together since 2011.

Parker was previously married to Eva Longoria in July 2007, but later divorced in 2010 amid rampant rumors that he had exchanged hundreds of text messages with another woman.
