While driving around Los Angeles yesterday, the 39-year-old actress was pulled over by a bicycle police officer for using her cell phone while behind the wheel.
Mendes was photographed while pulled over to the side of the road in her SUV. Mendes, who sported sunglasses with her hair in a bun, sat in the driver's seat while a helmeted cop spoke to her through the passenger's seat window. The cop was also seen handing her a piece of paper.
Earlier this week, rumors began swirling that Mendes and her boyfriend Ryan Gosling had broken up after not being photographed together in over six months. However, Mendes' rep told E! News the breakup reports were just another round of rumors.
In other false rumor news, Mendes was also reported to be pregnant after she refused to go through an airport security scan because she was preggers. That rumor was also proved to be false. A source told us that Mendes never ever said anything about being pregnant and her rep also said, "She has never gone through the scanners at the airport; she has always elected to be hand-checked instead."
