Fergie had a pretty adorable companion at a recent photo shoot: her sweet son Axl Jack.
The 38-year-old singer added a lovely snapshot with her 5-month-old to her Instagram account on Wednesday, Jan. 29.
"Mama got to hang with her lil homie today on the set of her #avonoutspoken shoot. #lilhomie," the Black Eyed Peas frontwoman captioned the pic.
Josh Duhamel's wife showed off her fabulous post-baby body—and her long legs—in a short,sparkly red dress and white pumps with black detail. She gazed lovingly at her little boy, who looked dapper in a gray sweatshirt with a matching pageboy cap, jeans and white sneakers.
Fergie and Duhamel welcomed their first child in late August, and even though Axl is a youngster, he is already emulating his mama and showing off his pipes.
"He's starting to try to talk to me and sing with me," Fergie told E! News in December. "I'll sit there and I'll sing songs to him and he'll just look at me and he'll laugh and he'll try to chime in. He makes these really weird sounds! And I'll just clap like the proud mama I am."
Even though Fergie is cherishing these special bonding moments, she admits that she doesn't care if he wants to be a singer or not.
"I'll support him in whatever he wants to do, but it's just really fun with me as a singer right now, getting to have that little connection."
When asked if she would like a daughter to teach all her hair and makeup tricks to, the new mama revealed, "Of course, that would be amazing."
