The actors and actresses up for 2014 SAG Awards realize what an honor it is to be nominated!
Shortly after the full list of nominees was announced on Wednesday, Dec. 11, film stars up in varying categories wanted to publicly express their gratitude for this recognition!

Jennifer Lawrence (Supporting Actress Nominee for American Hustle): "Wow. Such great news. Congratulations to the other nominees and to my fellow cast members for the film's ensemble nomination."

Emma Thompson (Leading Actress Nominee for Saving Mr. Banks): "It's a special thrill to be nominated by other actors and this movie was a pure joy to make."
Jared Leto (Supprting Actor Nominee for Dallas Buyers Club): "I had not made a film in almost six years. To return to the screen with this love and support is absolutely insane and amazing. I'm so honored to be recognized by my peers at the Screen Actors Guild and to be nominated by this wonderful group of people that I admire so much. I'm so proud and so grateful to you all. Julia Roberts (Supporting Actress Nominee for August: Osage County): "This is such an exciting morning for me and my remarkable cast mates. For all of us to be recognized by our peers in the Screen Actors Guild is a lovely honor."
Chiwetel Ejiofor (Leading Actor Nominee for 12 Years a Slave): "I couldn't be more thrilled and grateful to the Screen Actors Guild for this nomination. Cate Blanchett (Leading Actress Nominee for Blue Valentine): "It's wonderful to be recognized by my peers. Thank you to SAG for this very special nomination."
Lupita Nyong'o (Supporting Actress Nominee for 12 Years a Slave): "I am incredibly honored to be recognized by fellow actors for my performance in Steve McQueen's 12 Years a Slave and I am proud to be in the company of my fellow nominees, who are all so incredible. Being part of 12 Years a Slave has been unlike anything I've ever experienced. I am so happy for Chiwetel [Ejiofor], Michael [Fassbender] and the entire cast. This nomination is something I will always cherish."
Forest Whitaker (Best Leading Actor Nominee for Lee Daniels' The Butler): It is a huge honor to be nominated by my peers at SAG. This role resonated deeply with me and it was a privilege to bring it to life on the screen.
