Tonight, the wait is over. American Horror Story: Coven premieres on FX and trust us when we say, it's the best season yet and you will not be disappointed with all the witchy goodness.

During the Coven premiere, we chatted with Jessica Lange, Kathy Bates, Lily Rabe and the rest of the cast about why they keep returning to Ryan Murphy's twisted world, how this season is different from the others and who already had a (silent) sex scene.

"It's so incredibly well-written, and with the cast of women on board…You talk about the offer you can't refuse? Absolutely," Angela Bassett, who plays Voodoo queen Marie Laveau, gushed to us. "[Marie] was quite an influential free woman of color in the early 1800's and the mystique and the referential treatment of her name, all that still lives on. "

And there was one other thing Murphy said to her that sealed the deal: "We get women Emmys!"

Denis O'Hare, who appeared in season one of AHS but skipped Asylum, is back as a creepy new character named Spalding. And his character shares the same personality trait as another member of the cast.

"I play a guy with no tongue. I have no voice, so I don't speak. And Evan Peters also doesn't speak much. So it's all women and the two guys that don't speak, which I think is really funny," O'Hare says. "I think this season is going to be different. It's going to be a little lighter. It's a younger cast. It's focused on the young girls who are in the school, and so I think it's going to relate to a different audience. You know, it's got some sex. I got a sex scene!"

Yes, this season of AHS is definitely a celebration of truly talented women, a fact that Rabe is more than happy to be apart of.

"It's really amazing to be around so many wonderful women," she tells us. "It's unusual to walk on the set and occasionally you have a scene with a boy, but mostly you're just with girls all the time. That's really unique."
