So far, so good!

"Hoping I don't leak anytime soon," new mom Claire Danes cracked to E!'s Ryan Seacrest on the Golden Globes red carpet tonight, her fitted red Versace gown showing off her already killer postbaby body—and, for the record, showing zero sign of, er, anything else.

The Homeland star revealed that her month-old son Cyrus is in the care of his grandparents at the Beverly Hilton for the evening. But, it turns out that having a "teeny, teeny tiny" baby in the room while the Best Actress in a TV Series, Drama, nominee was getting ready was a great distraction from the competitive matter at hand.

"It was very soothing, he's very calming presence," Danes said. "You can't get too hysterical around him."

As for motherhood, "it's great," she added. "I'm seriously happy—and also sort of startled to be in this scene suddenly, I've been so sequestered, I've been in baby world."

Baby world for the time being Toronto, where hubby Hugh Dancy is shooting a film.

"I've been in sweatpants for quite a while," Danes laughed, though, as always—even though she says she tried on her custom-made dress for the first time just last night—she looked right at home on the red carpet.
