Now we finally know where Jess (Zooey Deschanel) got her adorkableness from!

Jamie Lee Curtis and Rob Reiner have been tapped to play Jess' parents on Fox's hit comedy New Girl, E! News has confirmed.

The celebrated actors will be making their parental debut during a very important holiday.

Reiner and Curtis will pop up in the show's Thanksgiving episode as Jess' divorced parents, Joan and Bob. Their storyline involves Jess attempting to get her parents to reunite. This should end well!

Curtis, famous for her roles in films such as Halloween, True Lies and Freaky Friday, recently appeared on NCIS.

Reiner, best known as an actor for his work on the classic sitcom All in the Family, has made guest appearances on 30 Rock and Curb Your Enthusiasm, but spends most of his time behind the camera these days, directing recent films such as Flipped, The Bucket List and Rumor Has It... Oh yeah, he also directed a little film called When Harry Met Sally, which we're sure is one of Jess' favorites.

New Girl season two premieres Sept. 25 on Fox.
