Has Kate Middleton Promised to Sleep on the Streets for Charity?

Is a certain royal really planning on roughing it?

The word on the, er, street is that Kate Middleton has agreed to sleep on the streets of London as part of a campaign by the Centrepoint organization to raise awareness of the city's growing homeless population.

Well, don't go sending the Duchess of Cambridge a blanket just yet...

While British actress and Centrepoint ambassador Lisa Maxwell reportedly told The Mirror that Prince William's significant other had agreed to participate in the "Sleep Out" campaign, E! News has learned that's simply not the case.

"This isn't correct," a rep for the Duchess tells us. "There are no plans for the Duchess to sleep out for Centrepoint. I'm afraid the story is inaccurate."

She did, however, join her husband on a visit to Centrepoint last year.
