Don't you worry, Lambs: Mariah Carey is alive and well.

On Tuesday, the 42-year-old singer was the victim of a death hoax thanks to a slew of prank Twitter messages.

In tweets attributed to @BET, @TMZ, @CNN_TV and other outlets, Carey was incorrectly said to have been "found dead." (According to Gossip Cop, the users who began falsely quoting these outlets have been deactivated.)

Fortunately, the wife and mama is A-OK. She plugged her upcoming new music on Twitter Tuesday night and even tweeted back to a few fans.

We're definitely glad this diva is perfectly fine. As for the trolls who keep creating death hoaxes? Guys, come on: Time for a new hobby.
