The Rock of Ages starlet and American Idol host have been together almost two years now, so it's only natural that the cute couple is getting the big engagement question, right?
Well, it turns out...
We're not the only ones posing the question. Hough's family is also asking when Mr. Seacrest is going to put a ring on it!
"They're like any family," the 23-year-old beauty told us at Spike's Guys Choice Awards in L.A. "They're cool. It's good that they're asking. It means that they like him, right?"
While the two are not engaged, Seacrest, 37, did prank Hough last month on American Idol when he fooled her into thinking he was going to pop the question during one of their live shows.
"There's something that's been on my mind for a while," he teased. "It's a question I've been meaning to ask you and I don't want you to feel uncomfortable," he added before reaching into his jacket to pull out...not a ring, but a note for her Rock of Ages costar Tom Cruise.
Meanwhile, Hough says she's "really excited" to film her next movie. She'll star alongside Josh Duhamel in the big-screen adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks' novel Safe Haven.
"I did it mainly because I love the character and the director, Lasse Hallström," she said. "I think he's one of the most prestigious directors I will be working with, so it's very, very exciting. And Josh—not a bad guy to look at. He's really great...Not to give the story away too much, but I kind of play two people-ish."
But don't call Hough and Duhamel the new Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling, à la The Notebook. "Oh my gosh," Hough laughed. "You can't even compare!"
