The Fashion Star mentor co-hosted a party for the NBC show yesterday along with fellow mentor, John Varvatos, at the H&M Flagship Store on Fifth Avenue in NYC. She wore a bold print dress from the recent Winter Kate collection and paired it with red satin Brian Atwood heels.
Our fashion statement here? Too bold. The dress is long and overwhelming on the tiny star's frame, and the red shoes paired with the yellow and navy print just feels forced. We miss the natural chic and ease we usually see on this girl.
Fashion Star, which also features Jessica Simpson and Elle Macpherson, is in the final episodes of the season. Richie made a point of pimping her show before the party, tweeting, "New @NBCFashionStar tonight! Only a few more episodes to go before the finale! #FashionStar."
