The closer to the finals it gets, the more amazing singers there are on The Voice. We couldn't possibly imagine how hard the decisions made tonight were for Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green.
But that's their job, and as always, someone from each team went home tonight.
Team Cee Lo
Jamar Rogers fell to the ground when it was announced that he was saved by America's votes. Cheesa and Juliet Simms had one last performance to try and win Cee Lo's save.
Cheesa belted "Already Gone" by Kelly Clarkson. Although he "detected a little flatness," Blake felt her performance was great. Adam and Christina agreed that it was pitchy, but she definitely "showed 'em your stuff."
Juliet gave her rendition to Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn," and Blake admitted that he wasn't a believer in the blind auditions, but he loves her now. Aguilera shared that she enjoys her gritty rock performances more than the softer songs.
We'll get to see if she takes Aguilera's advice, since Cee Lo decided to keep Simms in the game, meaning Cheesa is out.
Team Adam
Tony Lucca was saved by America to move on to the semifinals, leaving Katrina Parker and Mathai doing last-chance performances.
A sassy Mathai sang Carrie Underwood's "Cowboy Casanova" which Shelton clearly enjoyed and Aguilera gave pity to Levine, who would have a difficult decision to make tonight.
Parker performed Pink's "Perfect," well, perfectly. Blake and Xtina both agreed that Katrina is the best singer on Adam's team. Christina added that she's excited to hear original material sung by Parker.
In the end, Levine chose to keep Katrina, sending Mathai home.
