Here's the naked truth about Will Arnett's bromance with Jason Bateman: The soon-to-reteam Arrested Development cohorts are such close buddies, they've stripped down all pretenses with each other—emphasis on "stripped."
We caught up with Arnett at the Tribeca Film Festival Saturday night for the premiere of his and Bateman's new flick, the male-grooming-themed documentary Mansome, and Arnett, um, lays bare just how tight they've become...
"We've seen each other in every state of undress," Arnett tells E! News.
"We are truly—I realize that as I go longer in this life—that Jason and I truly are like brothers in that regard. There's just no way around it [when] you spend that much time with somebody."
Indeed, last October Arnett famously tweeted about Arrested Development's return while hanging out with Bateman in a men's room...and peeing.
In Mansome—which explores modern notions of masculinity in an age of overgroomed, metrosexualized vanity—the two even take a rejuvenating dip together in a hot tub at a spa.
The cheeky, poker-faced scene is the farthest Arnett's ever gone in the name of vanity, he says. "Going for a spa day with Jason Bateman—it was pretty extreme. I was in a bathtub with another dude!"
Uh, yeah. They also get facials together. And foot baths.
Still, don't think Arnett's gone all pamperrific chichi on us.
When asked what grooming product we'd be shocked to learn he owns, he cracks: "A comb."
