They met while shooting the thriller Dark Tide, but it's been nothing but smooth sailing for starry-eyed couple Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez.
After months of frenzied speculation (and some very public ring sightings!), Martinez finally confirmed that he and the Oscar-winning actress were engaged, officially putting an end to one of La-La Land's biggest guessing games.
Berry's remained pretty tight-lipped about the good news, but now it's her turn to speak out...
"Who knew?!" the actress told Extra this past weekend, pleasantly shocked that she'll be taking the plunge again.
"I swore it off, right? Never say never, people!"
Indeed, in a 2007 interview with InStyle, the actress vowed, "I will never, never get married again," following her failed marriages to baseball star David Justice and singer Eric Benét.
Good thing she's had a change of heart!
Last month, Martinez addressed the engagement rumors, telling Miami.com, "Yes, of course it's true!"
It's a welcome bright spot for Berry, who recently endured a nasty custody battle with ex Gabriel Aubry while fearing for her family's safety following the release of a man convicted for stalking her.
