The Bureau of Prisons has met T.I. halfway once again.

Two weeks after releasing him, only to promptly haul him back behind bars, the BOP approved the rapper's return to a halfway house to spend the waning days of his prison sentence for violating probation on a federal weapon charge, E! News confirmed Thursday.

Guess he made a good showing at that mysterious disciplinary meeting, right?!

"We have good reason to believe that this favorable result was reached because of the proactive and assertive approach taken to protect T.I.'s rights by providing BOP officials and the media with reliable and accurate information that T.I. did not intend to violate his transfer furlough or any other BOP rules en route from the prison facility in Arkansas to the halfway house in Atlanta," said his attorney Steve Sadow, who was not allowed to attend T.I.'s informal hearing in front of prison officials.

Meaning, the rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris, didn't intend to pimp his ride to semi-freedom.

He was ordered back to jail from the halfway house the first time because, per authorities, he misrepresented his mode of transport, saying he would be riding in "some sort of van" but ending up in a massive shuttle bus with a reality-show producer and a host of handlers.

"T.I. will be released from the custody of the BOP on September 29th, and then will be supervised by the U.S. Probation Office for a period of one year," Sadow confirmed to E! News.
