Not that it's a competition or anything (heavens, no!), but it's safe to say cavorting around Europe with movie stars and a hunky new younger beau means you're the winner in the postdivorce stakes.

But Eva Longoria isn't gloating about her fab new lifestyle to her ex-husband Tony Parker. Though that may only be because she's no longer on speaking terms with her unfaithful former spouse.

Eva spoke about her failed marriage with Ellen DeGeneres this week, opening up about her current relationships both with Tony and her new love Eduardo (brother of Penélope) Cruz.

And let's just say, it didn't take her too long to catch us up on the first one.

"You and Tony are friendly," Ellen began. "Do you still talk?"

"No," came the quick—and only—answer.

Message received.

However, she did expand a bit more on the failings of her marriage and what lessons she learned through the relationship.

"Oh gosh, a lot. You know, for me being a woman, I realized you cannot identify yourself through a man or through your marriage."

After pausing to reciprocate a high-five to Ellen, she continued.

"Or through a partner. I think it's our nature to be socially constructed that way—to just be inferior or subservient—and you don't have to be. You can be yourself and really hold your own by yourself no matter what partnership you're in."

She also added that having a separate identity outside of work or partnerships was a particularly important lesson to learn in Hollywood, since when it comes to relationships, it's not so much a matter of if things don't work out.

"Hollywood, it's when."

However, Eva hasn't become a total cynic and admits that she's currently "in a happy place."

"Everyone says I look younger. Which I'm like, OK. Everyone keeps saying, you've never looked better. I'm going, wow, I think divorce agrees with me."

As does her new relationship, though she's trying her best to stay mum on that front, playing coy when asked if she was in love with her new beau.

"I don't know," she said. "Who knows...I'm happy."

And we're happy for ya, Eva!
