The cast filmed a comic bit about why "50 percent of television is now set in New Jersey," Emmys host Jane Lynch said this morning at the annual red carpet rollout.
Lynch admits she wasn't always a fan of the show. She never even watched them before getting the Emmys gig. "Let's put it this way, I was too good to watch that show," she told me. "But then I watched it and now I'm addicted. I TiVo it now. Meeting Snooki, Pauly D, The Situation and all of them was like meeting the Beatles."
With just a few days to go, how's Lynch feeling? Before the rollout, she told E! News' own Ryan Seacrest on his morning radio show that she was nervous. "I was more nervous when I talked to him than I am now," Lynch said. "I've had some coffee. I'm feeling better. I'm feeling like things are under control."
