The Talk producers apparently thought it was time for a change. But don't ask Holly Robinson Peete the reason why!

"To be quite honest no, we have not heard a reason, and that kind of makes it a little more frustrating," the former Talk cohost exclusively told E! News today of getting axed from the CBS show. "I've been around long enough in this business to know that, sometimes, you don't get a reason. You just pick up and keep moving."

Ironically, this sounds like a problem you'd want to sit down and discuss with a group of fellow women in showbiz...

"Our loyal viewers, especially the mom bloggers and some of the audience that we really built our core base on, I think they deserve a reason or some acknowledgment," Peete said, stopping to chat today at the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the L.A. Watts Labor Community Action Committee center, one of the various causes she's involved in, which is reopening after undergoing a $50,000 renovation thanks to the Maxwell House Drops of Good program.

"But from my personal point of view," she continued, "I'm moving on and looking toward the future.  But I do understand the frustration of not knowing."

In the meantime, "I'm just exploring a whole bunch of options. I feel like daytime TV is a sweet spot for me. I liked live TV, and I didn't know I could do it until this year. I'm looking forward to testing out new stuff, maybe some scripted opportunities."

And there are always possible future appearances on The View...

Leah Remini was also shown the door after one season, leaving Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sara Gilbert, new hire Sheryl Underwood and a series of guest hosts—including Kris Jenner and Molly Shannon—to keep The Talk going.

But are any of them going to be in the new 21 Jump Street movie? No sir!

"When I heard about the 21 Jump Street movie remake, I begged to be in it!" exclaimed Johnny Depp's former castmate in the original Fox series. "I loved that show, it's a part of TV folklore, and I've always been appreciative of what it did for me."

So she told the filmmakers, "'I gotta be in it, whatever I can do, I'll carry someone's books!' So, I have one line, don't blink!" Peete tells E! News. "I don't know if I'll make the film! But I begged my way in and I got in!"

Depp has shot a cameo for the film, as well. Nice work talking your way into that one, Holly!
