Don’t let their snarls fool you, Billy Talent is a band of sweethearts. They’ll be hosting The Second Annual F.U.MS Open golf tournie exactly one week from today (August 8th) to raise money for a great cause – young adults affected by multiple sclerosis. The tournament should raise about $25,000 for the MS Society of Canada Scholarship Program.
Billy Talent drummer Aaron Solowoniuk has lived with MS for over ten years and he wanted to do something for other young people in his situation. The Second Annual F.U.MS Open will tee off at 1 p.m. sharp next Friday at Lionhead Golf & Country Club in Brampton, Ontario, for those looking to catch a peek at their favourite Canadian rockers.
