charity: water

Let me tell you about an important event

Friends, followers, fans: I need you.

I am honored to be a member of the host committee for the fifth annual charity: ball 2010, a multimedia exhibition and gala evening to benefit the work of charity: water, a non-profit bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. In just four years, charity: water has raised more than $25 million and funded 3,200 water projects around the world that will help 1.4 million people get clean water.

I'm not inviting you to a typical sit-down gala...

The evening is hosted by Entourage's Adrian Grenier at the Metropolitan Pavilion in NYC and includes beautiful installations and interactive exhibitions dedicated to telling the story of charity: water and the people they are serving. Activities include a live auction where wells and water projects will be auctioned off from three different deserving countries and the Waterwalk, where guests can get a small taste of what it's like for the millions of people who walk for water each day. One hundred percent of the funds raised at the event will go directly towards providing access to clean, safe water for those most in need.

A billion people on the planet do not have access to clean drinking water—we can help change that! Tickets are available now for charity: ball. Advanced tickets are $200 and the price will go up to $250 on December 1st.

I would love to have you join me on the 13th in support of charity: water. This is truly a global effort near and dear to my heart.

My sincerest gratitude,

Catt
