Even Steven Seagal, Lawman, knows when to call in a higher authority.

The aging action star has obtained a temporary restraining order against an "obsessed mentally ill stalker," aka a 55-year-old woman who "delusionally believes she's in a relationship" with Seagal's father and has allegedly been harassing the actor since early 2009.

Talk about under siege.

According to paperwork filed Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court, Angela Rain Bates must stay at least 100 yards away from Seagal, his family and the rest of his household.

Seagal's complaint alleges that on July 14 Bates trespassed on his L.A. property, threw two rocks through his window and attacked one of his employees when he tried to keep her from getting inside.

She "forcefully" kicked groundskeeper Zong Zhe in the groin and shin, causing a 2-inch contusion on his leg, the papers state.

L.A. police arrested her at the scene after finding her sitting atop a rock wall next to the property's main gate.

"The nature of Bates' conduct has become much more alarming and her motivation and obsession have become more ominous, intrusive and extremely threatening," says Seagal's camp.

Bates claims that she and Seagal's father, who's been dead for 20 years, lived together in Seagal's home and that it belongs to her.

A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Aug. 18.
