Ab Fab's Jennifer Saunders Battling Cancer

British actress recently finished treatment for breast cancer

Jennifer Saunders has not been feeling Absolutely Fabulous lately.

The British comedienne, who both created and starred in the bitingly funny Ab Fab, revealed Thursday that she has been battling breast cancer for the last eight months.

Saunders discovered a lump in her breast in October, according to BBC News. Not being able to eradicate the disease solely with blissful overindulgence and self-interest, she recently completed a course of treatment, and doctors have told her she's in remission.

Aside from being a megastar in Britain, Saunders, 52, also voiced the villainous Fairy Godmother in Shrek 2.
