It's time for the big question. No, not whether to call Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom KardashOdom or KhlOmar? We're talking about the "I do" question. That's because sources tell E! News that the reality queen and the Los Angeles Lakers star could tie the knot within two weeks.
The matrimonial fast break apparently caught Odom's teammates and NBA pals off guard. Lakers player Luke Walton tells E! News he didn't know Odom was dating—or planning to marry—the E! reality star, and says he hasn't been able to reach his teammate in recent days.
"I haven't heard anything," he says. "I've been calling him, but he won't call me back. I have no idea."
E! News caught up with Walton on Friday at the GBK Emmy Awards Gifting Lounge, where celebs including Denise Richards, Step Up's Jenna Dewan and Eddie Cibrian also stopped by throughout the day.
Former NBA star and current ESPN analyst Jalen Rose, a good friend of Odom's, also seems shocked by the news.
"If he's happy, I'm happy," Rose says, adding that he has never met Kardashian or talked with Odom about her.
Still, Rose says that although Odom is his "little homey," he would never give him tips on his love life.
"The one thing you learn in life: never to give a friend, a family member or someone you really care about relationship advice," he says. "Because they're just going to be with them anyway."
Lakers guard Jordan Farmer seems equally taken aback by the news of Odom's pending nuptials.
"I've only heard just what you have," he says. "I'm sure we'll talk—we'll be back in a week or so [for training camp]...but I'm happy for him."
While a wedding is anything but a slam dunk at this point, multiple sources say that Khloé and Lamar running a give-and-go down the aisle soon is definitely a high-percentage shot.
