With a season of Dancing With the Stars already under her belt, and a current hosting gig on the weight-loss competition show, Dance Your Ass Off, the Tony Award-winner will stop at nothing to shed a few pounds.
But losing weight hasn't been as easy as Winokur hoped. We caught up with the 36-year-old new mommy in NYC at the launch of the new Take a Stand campaign for Luvs Diapers.

How are your weight loss goals coming along?
I didn't lose as much as I wanted to by the time of the Dance Your Ass Off reunion, but I was like, "Maybe I can take off an extra five pounds just by straightening my hair..." I ended up losing 15. I have 10 more to go. Sometimes I feel like, "Wow, I should make a TV series out of this. This is real."
Have you really considered doing a reality series on your weight-loss trials and tribulations?
If there was a way to do it without my son involved. But my life is completely revolved around my son, so I can't imagine doing a reality show without encompassing my son…I don't think my marriage would last if I did a reality show. I don't want to worry how an argument would come off on camera or get edited.
If you could have any celeb whip you into shape, who would it be?
Oh, my god, J. Lo. I want to be J. Lo. I want her perfume line, I want her clothing, I want everything…I would die if I met her. Between her and Beyoncé, I would be starstruck. I've met tons of famous people—Zac Efron cannot compare to J. Lo.
Has anyone from the new season of DWTS turned to you for advice? Have you offered any?
Aaron Carter's already Facebooked me, and been like, "Hey, give me advice. Let's go! I want to do well." He's also the right type to do well on the show. He'll be great.
