Teachers at the Convent of the Sacred Heart girls school in New York City, where a little Italian girl named Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta matriculated for several years, are shocked, according to the New York Post.

From her pantless outfits to her controversial staged death at the MTV Video Music Awards, there's not much a nun can really condone, whether her work is considered art or not.

"When someone showed the nuns a video of her bloody performance at Sunday night's VMA Awards, the good sisters were not amused," a source tells the paper.
