An autograph-seeker who allegedly attacked the host-of-all-trade's bodyguard earlier this week is currently in jail on charges of assault, battery and possession of a switchblade.
Per TMZ, Chidi Uzomah approached Seacrest outside of Children's Hospital of Orange County, where the E! News anchor and American Idol emcee had just finished making an appearance, to ask for an autograph.
Seacrest complied, but then Uzomah kept following him to his car.
The bodyguard tried to head him off, upon which Uzomah supposedly started fighting with the guard. Police found a switchblade on the suspect once he had been subdued.
Uzomah is being held in an O.C. lockup on $25,000 bail.
